Centre for Gender-Related Violence Studies
The Centre for Gender-Related Violence Studies (CGRVS) was established in 1999 and aims to contribute to the outreach and community engagement of UNSW by prioritising projects that specifically focus on engagement with ‘communities', service providers and service users in gender-related violence contexts.

Flinders University Gender Consortium 
Gender Consortium (GC) is a group of associates who have expertise and experience in gender training, policy development and research. In Australia, and internationally, Gender Consortium has worked in the areas of gender mainstreaming, gender analysis, gender and development, and gender equity.

Centre for Refugee Research
The Centre for Refugee Research (CRR) is an interdisciplinary research centre at UNSW. CRR focuses on international refugee flows, internally displaced people, forced migration and resettlement issues.
 
Institute of Development Studies
In all of our work, IDS aims to challenge convention and to generate fresh ideas that foster new approaches to development policy and practice. Such problem-focused thinking requires a commitment to multidisciplinarity, not just within social sciences, but across research, teaching and communications.

Civil Society Building Knowledge Programme
The Hivos-ISS Knowledge Programme on Civil Society Building (CSB) is an academic-practitioner cooperation to strengthen Civil Society Building efforts. It involves knowledge development, dissemination and application on CSB and aims to contribute to the wider debate on how to best strengthen civil society to empower the most margianalized groups in society, such as people with HIV/Aids, women and indigenous people. The programme focuses on Southern Africa and Central America but also includes projects the Andes region and Eastern Africa.
